The zig-zag stitching along the brim is such a nice touch, it really makes the hat look like it came from a proper western set. My son wore it for his school carnival and it fit perfectly for his age, stayed on during all the running around. He's already asking when he can wear it again.
The stitching pattern is exactly as pictured, with nice zig-zags and crosses along the brown felt. Fit is fine for my 5-year-old, though the hat sits a bit loose and needs a chin strap for active play. It works well for the costume party, just don't expect it to survive rough handling.
