My son wore this for his school carnival and the red velvet stripe inside kept it comfortable on his head all afternoon. The green and red gemstones really pop against the gold.

The gold finish is quite shiny and the red velvet band inside gives it a nice touch, though it could be a little sturdier for active play. My kid wore it for a school carnival and the gems stayed put, which was a relief.
