The loom is sturdy enough for my 8-year-old to really pull the threads tight without it wobbling. She made her first bracelet in about an hour and was so proud.

My 7-year-old picked up the weaving technique in just a few minutes, and the wooden loom feels really sturdy compared to the plastic ones we've tried before. The included beads and threads are plenty for making several bracelets and necklaces right away.

The XL loom is wide enough that my 8-year-old can actually finish a bracelet in one sitting instead of getting frustrated. The beads are sorted by color in the box, which sounds minor but saves so much time. She's made four bracelets this week and wants to give them to her friends.
