My toddler loves shaking this along to music, and the six pairs of jingles create just the right gentle sound—not too loud for indoors. The soft tone makes it perfect for little ears.

The blue ribbon around the drumhead is a nice touch and holds up well to my kids' enthusiastic shaking. Sound is pleasantly soft rather than harsh, though I wish the pairs of jingles were a bit louder for older children.
